Diana and Kennon are as warm and fun as they are gorgeous. They’re getting married next year at the George Peabody Library in Baltimore, and I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding. It’s one of my favorite venues, and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite couples. When we were talking about options for their engagement session, it was between Baltimore – where they live and spend most of their time, or Kennon’s family’s farm in Frederick. Since the wedding is going to be in Baltimore, we’ll have plenty of opportunity to get great shots in the area on the wedding day. We ultimately all agreed that the farm would be the ideal location.
The Session
This place is beautiful. I expected it to be lovely, but the farm exceeded all expectations! We had a blast exploring around the house, the barn and the fields. The cat and dogs followed us around and participated in parts of the session – and the horses even made a pretty epic appearance at the end. Not to mention, the most amazing sunset I’ve ever photographed! Combine all of this with such a sweet and fun couple, and it was a photographer’s dream. I’m so excited to share just a few of my favorites on the blog today!
Diana and Kennon – Thanks again for inviting us into your world for the day and for being such awesome hosts! I can’t wait for your wedding next year!!

When Kennon decided to propose to Diana, he snuck it into a trip they’d planned to Yosemite knowing it was Diana’s favorite place. He asked Diana to marry him near the highest spot in the valley, Glacier Point on Taft Point. She said, “Yes!” and the two celebrated with her family, who joined them that evening. […]
