We traveled home from Cancún on Monday after a wonderful long weekend. The reprieve from Baltimore’s cold weather was well welcomed, and the wedding on Saturday was a blast. The wedding was completely beautiful, and LOADS of fun. I’m also incredibly excited because not only are the photos beautiful, thanks to the gorgeous couple and breathtaking backdrop that Mexico provided, but on a personal level I feel that it’s my best work yet. I can’t wait to share the wedding post with you all this coming Friday!
But for now, I’ll share some photos of the resort and from our trip, and then a quick teaser from the wedding to get you excited for Friday’s post :)
Thanks to my wonderful husband for taking a golf cart out to get this photo of the resort’s sign while I was with the girls at the spa photographing the bridal prep process.
The rest of these were taken by me around sunrise the day of the wedding:
We had these little guys EVERYWHERE at the resort. They’re called coatis and they are a part of the raccoon family, native to Central and South America.
And now a couple of quick sneak peeks to get you excited for the rest on Friday:
Congratulations Andrew and Jackie! I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon :)

Beautiful!! What time did you get up to get empty pool pics?? I feel like that never happens!! I can’t wait to see more from the wedding!
Beautiful photos! I may have pinned a few on Pinterest because I love them so much!
Beautiful! My husband and I went on our honeymoon in June to Secrets Maroma, their other resort in Cancun! We loved the mexican racoons! My husband fed them french fries so we had buddies for life. Can’t wait to see more of the wedding!
