Brittany + JJ | USNA Engagement Session

Sunday evening I got together with Brittany and JJ for their engagement session. With JJ stationed 4 hours away and Brittany’s school schedule, not to mention my schedule with wedding season, we struggled to find a day that worked to get together for their engagement session–thankfully Easter Sunday worked out! We met in Annapolis and drove onto the US Naval Academy, which is also going to be where these two say their vows in just a little over a month! It was a beautiful (albeit chilly) spring evening and I loved spending time with these two! I can’t wait for their wedding at the end of May!

It was crazy chilly with the wind but you can’t even tell, Brittany was such a trooper in her dress! I love these next few:  the light, JJ in his uniform, Brittany’s pretty nautical striped dress, the boats, the water, ahh! Perfect!I love Brittany’s ring! I’m so shocked that I had spent time with her twice before and had never noticed how beautiful it was! JJ did an incredible job.Love!It was a bit of a challenge finding any trees in bloom this early in spring (especially after this extended winter) and when we found this one I was super excited!After a quick wardrobe change we got some photos inside by the pool. JJ swam his entire time at the Naval Academy and swimming has been a huge part of his life. He was so excited that we were able to get inside for a few photos :)When we got back outside the sun was setting fast, but we ended up with some beautiful shots to end our evening together.And some more of Brittany’s stunner of a ring…
