Beautiful Baby Meia – Newborn Session

Valarie and I met about 8 years ago when I worked at Oak Crest in their television studio. When she contacted me to photograph her newborn baby girl I was thrilled! Babies are so much fun to photograph and it’s such an honor to be asked to capture such a fleeting and memorable time. I got to meet Baby Meia when she was only nine days new. She was a bit fussy when I first arrived but as soon as she fell asleep she was the perfect sleepy, moldable, beautiful baby model a photographer could ask for!

I’m so glad we got one of the elusive sleep-smiles! Just a few seconds after Valarie told me that so far she only smiles in her sleep, she let me see first hand!

I love the squishy baby lips! So cute.

Her parents call her “squish” and I think this next one shows just how squishy this little cutie is!

Big brother Aiden had a very similar photo taken to the next one. How fun that they now have one of both kids?
