October 8, 2012 Baby Maura ~ Newborn Session

Spencer and I work together at Johns Hopkins in different departments but both of us do video production. Although we are in different departments there are some projects that we work together on. In the last year I’ve come to become good friends with him. When he told me that he and his wife were expecting a baby I couldn’t have been more excited for him! And I might have gotten a little teary when they found out that it was a girl :) His excitement was infectious and I couldn’t wait to meet his baby girl. I was even more ecstatic when he asked me to do her newborn photos once she made her grand appearance! Just over two weeks ago little Maura made her debut. On Friday I went to their home, met Maura (and her lovely momma, Caitlin) and fell in love with her cuteness! She wanted to party so we only got a couple of sleepy baby shots. Enjoy! :)

She has the prettiest little eyes! She was so curious and very interested in watching what I was doing.

We got her to sleep for a few moments and got these next two shots. She’s so cute!

Caitlin loves fall and this is only just part of their lovely seasonal decorations! It only seemed appropriate to get a photo of their little pumpkin here :)

I love all of these family photos. Caitlin and Spencer definitely have the new parent happy glow.
