Keith + Pauliina | Swan Harbor Farm Wedding

April 24, 2013 Keith + Pauliina | Swan Harbor Farm Wedding

This Sunday, I was witness to a beautiful wedding of an even more beautiful couple. Inside and out. Keith and Pauliina are two truly special and loving human beings who are very obviously meant for each other. Their day couldn’t have been any more perfect, which was exactly what they deserved. They’ve invited me inside their love story (which you may remember me writing about for their engagement session) and it was truly amazing watching the perfect wedding day unfold for them. They had people travel from all over to spend their day with them. Though it was impressive that they had family come up from Florida, it was most impressive that they had family come from Finland!

I began the day at Pauliina & Keith’s gorgeous home, where the girls were getting ready. Pauliina’s dress is so gorgeous and was totally perfect for her. The hanger was made by one of the bridesmaids the night before the wedding!

I got to the house and the dress was already hanging in the window and they were already planning on hanging up the bridesmaid dresses for this photo. Gotta love a group that’s got great ideas!

Aren’t their invites gorgeous? I loved using them as a backdrop for some of the details :)

Keith’s uncle was the florist! He was on top of flowers all day! And they’re all amazing. Just wait. You’ll see.

Their ceremony was at the beautiful St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

I love that the ring bearers RAN down the aisle to “Unca Keith.” So precious.

I love a groom who cries. I may have been sobbing behind my camera.

Just look at their smiles! I love the anticipation of the kiss!!

Their grand exit couldn’t have been sweeter. There was another run toward Unca Keith by one of the ring bearers :)

We went back into the church for the formal portraits and then it was off to Swan Harbor Farm!

I love big bridal parties. What’s better than a big bridal party? A big bridal party that’s 100% fun!

Then I got some time with the lovebirds before it was off to the reception!

The reception set up couldn’t have been more gorgeous! Thanks to Stacy Loveridge (my assistant for the day!) for a good chunk of these shots :)

The tables were named after important places from their travels and in their lives.

They had photos set up inside of each of these places! Note the one from Havre de Grace. It should look familiar ;)

Oh hey! I know that photo too :)

Party time!

Pauliina’s dad gave a wonderful speech, and offered some advice since he had her undivided attention. That paper in his hand is his list of advice.

I normally don’t include table shots in my blog posts, but I just had to shout out my December 28 bride & groom, June & Joe! June and Joe actually hired me first and then recommended me to Pauliina and Keith. It was fun getting to spend some time with them too on Sunday!

Pauliina and Keith can really DANCE. It was so fun to watch!

After the first dance and father-daughter dance we headed out for some sunset photos.

They cut their gorgeous cake and politely fed each other despite the heckling and cheering for them to smash it into each other’s faces.

The Mother-Son dance was a total riot. They started out dancing to a traditional mother-son dance song, which then turned into the chicken dance, which gave way to the electric slide, and transitioned into the macarena.

There was a choreographed surprise dance to Grease!

And then what happened next can only be called Dance Explosion, a term coined by a best man at the Cancun wedding earlier this year.

There was a bit of a dance off… and then these two took to the floor. I think you can guess who won.

Pauliina & Keith, Thank you so much for having me as a part of your special day. You two are the best and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.

Pauliina’s sister, Mari, just came into Tome School and gave me this website address. I am blown away by not only your speed in getting so many photos posted but by their brilliance. These are fabulous images of a beautiful couple. Congratulations to the bride & groom ~.
