Michelle and John | Antrim 1844 Wedding

Weddings

A few weeks ago I worked with Rachel Smith Photography on a beautiful wedding on a gorgeous May day. There was a threat of a dreary, yucky, rainy day… but it held off and they had the perfect wedding day. This was my first time being at Antrim 1844 and I was very impressed with the variety that the venue offers. It’s truly a beautiful backdrop for a perfect wedding. Click here to see Rachel’s full post of their day.

I started the day off with the groom and the groomsmen. I loved watching Iman, John’s brother go over his Best Man’s speech a last time.

John made quite the handsome groom.

We had some time to kill before the first look so the guys broke out a bottle of scotch and chilled out in the groom’s suite.

They had a very sweet first look:

… which left time for gorgeous pre-ceremony photos to help take the edge and nerves out of the day.

Michelle was such a stunning bride!

The groomsmen specifically requested this shot with the Jeep. I don’t know what it is about men and their Jeeps but my husband Steve would approve.

Yep. She’s a knock out.

All of the details for both the ceremony and reception were stunning. This was by far one of the most beautifully put together weddings I’ve ever been to.

I stayed with Michelle and the girls up until it was time to walk down the aisle. I’m so glad I was there to capture her dad’s reaction to seeing her for the first time. He made me cry. He’s such a wonderful and sweet man.

How lovely is this? Beautiful.

After a gorgeous ceremony I headed to the reception to photograph the details while Rachel worked the family photos by the pool!

I rejoined them in time for some of the bridal party photos. I love that the guys had fun socks!

This post is getting quite lengthy already, but I’ve got to share some of the reception photos so you can see just how amazing of a party it was!

Rachel, thanks for having me along! It was wonderful working with you, and Michelle and John are such a fantastic couple! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
