I just love the couple in today’s post. Last November I met with Ashley and her mom to talk about her wedding. Nelson was working so I didn’t get the chance to meet him, but I fell in love with Ashley immediately. She was just so sweet and so fun and so enthusiastic about her wedding and her amazing fiancé and it was just contagious! No more than a minute after I left the meeting (I had *just* made it to my car) I got a phone call from Ashley, she wanted me to hear it from her right then, that her and her mom loved me and she wanted me to shoot her wedding! She was SO cute on the phone, I just knew I had an amazing bride and ever since I’ve been greatly looking forward to seeing her again!

Our session got rained out a few weeks ago and we were finally ready to shoot this Sunday! It was a gorgeous day! Until right around the time the session was supposed to start. The clouds rolled in and it even rained on the way there. Thankfully the rain let up and we had a beautiful evening to work with. We even got a tiny bit of golden light before the sun went behind the clouds for the remainder of the day. Ashley had a great attitude about it and was prepared with cute umbrellas just in case! As I mentioned before, this was my first time meeting Nelson and I love him just as much as I love Ashley! These two are just so sweet and so perfect for each other and game for anything. I can’t even properly describe just how excited I am for their wedding this September!

Ahh she’s going to be the most beautiful bride.

As they went to the car to change outfits, I photographed Ashley’s ring. I am OBSESSED! The double prongs, the ribbon setting, so much gorgeousness.

This is what happened when I asked Nelson to be “all GQ” whatever that even means. I’m going to say he nailed it. Ha!

He’s quite the handsome dude. Seriously, I can’t get over how gorgeous they are and how perfect they are for each other.

Love this one too! Maybe *this* should go on my wall instead? Decisions, decisions…

Ashley + Nelson, thanks so much for being good sports on Sunday. I hope you love these photos and I just can’t wait for your wedding in September! We’re going to have a blast!
