This Monday I met Rafi and Amy at Seneca Creek State Park for their engagement session. Originally we had planned on doing it elsewhere but the government shutdown thwarted our plans as the original location was a National Park. Thanks a lot, Congress! I love Amy and Rafi and I was so excited to get to see them again. When we met initially to talk about their wedding I left incredibly excited to work with them. They are so fun and outdoorsy and I love that about them! Amy admittedly is much less outdoorsy than Rafi, but she’s a good sport ;) I feel very similarly about my relationship with Steve. He’s definitely the more adventurous/outdoorsy one… I just tag along.
When I first met these two I knew instantly that they were my kind of couple and that I had to work with them. Thankfully they were just as excited about working with me as I was about working with them! I’ve been looking forward to their engagement session for a while!
It was an overcast fall morning and the park made for a gorgeous colorful backdrop.
I have been so lucky lately with amazing couples that are absolute naturals in front of the camera. These two were no exception.
The pond was gorgeous but I am absolutely OBSESSED with all of the images we got in the wooded areas. The fall colors combined with their neutral outfits made for some seriously stunning photos.
How cute are these two together?
Rafi proposed to Amy with this beautiful bracelet. She’s currently wearing her mother’s engagement ring and will likely be re-setting it before the wedding!
Amy’s eyes just pop in this one! So pretty.
Fave!
Amy and Rafi, you are incredible couple and I feel so lucky to be working with you! You’re the best and I can’t wait for June!
Great images and I love that park, it looks like they traveled for miles and are the only 2 people there!
What a perfect setting! I love those photos on the rock, and her ring!
Such a sweet session! I love the woodsy setting!
Oh Brea this may be one of my favorite sessions of yours! I love all the soft colors and the location is stunning!
