This year’s weddings have been amazing beyond belief. I will talk about each wedding and each couple a bit more thoroughly in a post to come later this month. Today I just want to share some of my favorite shots of the year — the “money shots” if you will. Some of these are favorites because of the creativity or composition of the image and others for the meaning behind it.
For more from this week’s series of personal favorites, check out the posts on: Lifestyle photos, Ring shots, and Engagement photos.
From Jamie and Tommy’s wedding: I don’t think I need to explain why I picked this one.
I love this shot from Tom and Teresa’s wedding, the wind caught her veil and made for a stunning shot – lucky timing! Such a happy and beautiful bride!I love that Brianna and Paul had their Henry in the wedding as the “Best Dog”Dave and Denise’s “Leap of Faith” was a moment I’ll never forget.Jackie and Andrew’s day after session was stunning- one of my favorite sessions ever. K+V’s wedding this July was an incredibly emotional one for me – my first ever same sex wedding, with two incredibly beautiful people inside and out. This moment before Elizabeth’s wedding with her mother brought tears to my eyes. Her mom was helping her put on her necklace, a cross containing her father’s ashes. Best. Bridal Party Shot. Ever. I love the sheer joy on Pauliina’s face during their first dance. This one had to make the post because – believe it or not – one of the bridesmaids showed up with the wrong color dress. I bet you can’t guess which one! Thank goodness for photoshop ;)Gotta love Atlantic City… and what’s cooler than being able to get on the roof of The Chelsea for a stunning night shot?I love this one – Jackie looks so happy and Andrew looks quite handsome.I love the anticipation of the bride and her father to begin the walk down the aisle. Kelly and Theo’s first look was emotional and beautiful – and of course I love that night shot.Allison and Debbie’s wedding was 25 years in the making. I’m so happy I could be a part of it – Love you two!Another instance of lucky timing – that leaf fell into her hair.
SUCH an amazing year! The full recap is coming later this week!
