Hi Everyone! I hope you’ve had an amazing week! Next week is going to be slow on the blog because I’m going to be in Vermont to see family and go snowboarding! I’m not planning on bringing my camera but we do have a Go Pro now so there will be some photos to share :)

Today the winners of the Chesapeake Bridal Awards were announced and although I didn’t win (darn!) one of my good friends, Dani Leigh Photography, did! Congratulations Dani! It was a huge honor to even be a finalist in my first year of business full time. Next year, hopefully I’ll be alongside Dani as one of the winners :)

In other news, this week one of my favorite sessions from this fall was featured on Charm City Wed! CJ and Taylor’s session was so much fun and I loved hanging out with these two that morning. We spent easily two and a half hours together, which is way on the high end of how long an engagement session is! But I didn’t even notice the time. Taylor is practically my soul twin. Love her. Looking back to this awesome session and their brightly colored clothes made me incredibly excited for spring. After next week’s snowboarding trip, I’ll be ready for winter to go away and spring to come back. Also kind of fun, this week on Charm City Wed, was a post featuring wedding reflections from former grooms. Reading the guys’ perspectives was pretty awesome, so this is definitely worth checking out! Accompanying the post was one of the groomsmen photos from Karen and Thom’s AVAM wedding this September.
