Last week I met up with Briana and Greg for their engagement session at the Howard County Conservancy. I had just been there not even a week prior for Sandy and Heather’s proposal/engagement session, and I think it’s so crazy how completely different these two sessions look, just a week apart. Briana came with two adorable outfits to change into (I want to steal her wardrobe) and we had the perfect sunny day to work with. It was a little chilly, but by looking at these photos you’d never tell. These two and their awesome personalities, combined with the amazing light we got at the end of the day make this one of my new favorite engagement sessions!
As almost every single session starts out – Briana and Greg were a little nervous about being awkward in front of the camera and not quite knowing what to do. Which is why we do engagement sessions! It’sĀ so weird getting your photo taken at first, so the engagement session is an awesome chance to get warmed up and comfortable with it. By the time they changed into their second outfits, they were both pros. Briana even nailed the model face!
I swear by the end of the day they were making fun of me and my “forehead nuzzles” but they were pros at it :) I love Briana’s ring and I love that there was a tree in bloom for me to photograph it with! Just a week ago this tree was bare. We were lucky :) I loved shooting through this tree! We visited it again later with the other outfit too :) Aren’t her eyes amazing? Back to my favorite tree ;) Greg + Briana are getting married later this year at Pond View Farm, and love the rustic/country feel. Of course some photos in the barn at HCC were a must. (Also sometimesĀ referred to as “Brea’s House”) By this point we were starting to get some amazing light. We were ready to wrap up, but I wanted to savor the beauty of it! Oh hey model face! We trekked behind the barn for one last series of shots and I’m so glad we did. The golden light was spectacular. Love these too much!
Briana + Greg, thanks so much for spending your evening with me! I hope you love the photos as much as I do and I can’t wait for your wedding! Hopefully we’ll have a warmer but equally beautiful day :)
That tree is lovely. I see why you visited it twice! I love all the shots taken there – beautiful!
Awesome job as usual! I especially like them under that white tree and inside the barn!
