All I’ve been thinking of when it comes to this post is Monty Python “and now for something completely different…”
A few weeks ago my friends Tony and Dana held a benefit concert at Rams Head Live for The Children’s Heart Foundation in honor of their son Parker, a heart hero himself, who was born in September with a heart defect. Parker underwent open heart surgery at 3 months old and is happy and healthy as ever! It’s amazing! The guys from Here’s to the Night played at the show and afterwards we started talking and the possibility of working together on their new band photos came up.
Last week the shoot happened, and I love how these turned out. Here’s to the Night is made up of four guys, Marty, Steve, Danny and Roobyn. I’ve known Danny and Roobyn for nearly 10 years, and they were previously a part of Gold Mind Squad, a very popular local band during that time. Here’s to the Night is different than what I’ve come to know of Danny and Roobyn’s music in that they’re a 90s-2000s nostalgia cover band.
We embraced the high school nostalgia for this shoot and went over the top ridiculous – because you should never take yourself too seriously.
And as if this shoot wasn’t hilarious enough on its own, this was shot at Oldfields, an all girls’ boarding school in Sparks, MD.
They look like they’re so much fun! I love these photos Brea!
