This Sunday Amanda and Ryan were married at the incredibly gorgeous Strong Mansion. For those of you who live locally (and are reading this when it was published) you may remember Sunday as a very stormy day. These storms ended up causing us to start the ceremony late and have to move it under the tent. Although the ceremony didn’t work out as planned, it was still one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. This blog post is just too much pretty to handle. We were also lucky and got rain just in time for the night shots too– which lead to my new all time favorite night shots!
Amanda and Ryan are such a fun couple and their love is amazing to witness. From Ryan tearing up watching his bride walk down the aisle towards him (sorry, Ryan, there’s photographic evidence), to their beautiful custom vows, there were many lovely moments to witness. I’m so glad I was able to be a part of their day.
Strong Mansion at Sugarloaf Mountain is a stunning venue. As soon as I walked up to the mansion I could see exactly why they had chosen the location for their wedding. Stunning views everywhere you look. I was in photographer’s heaven.
Amanda has the most amazing dress… though the pictures of it on the hanger don’t fully capture the beauty, you have to see it on her.
A little bit obsessed with this bouquet and those shoes!
While Amanda was getting ready it started to storm.
Such a stunning bride!
I just loved the little flower girl! She’s such a ham!
Meanwhile, downstairs, Ryan was getting ready with the guys, awaiting the decision about moving the ceremony.
The rain didn’t look like it was going to let up, and rather than wait and risk it, they decided to move inside the tent.
The tent wasn’t ideal, but it still has a gorgeous view and their ceremony was so sweet, in the end it didn’t matter where it took place, they were meant for each other and they were married!
Gotta love this first kiss!
Thankfully the rain let up long enough for us to head outside for some gorgeous portraits before getting back to the party!
Such a gorgeous couple!
Obsessed!!
I just love all of these portraits of Amanda – I couldn’t choose a favorite!
Our little flower girl had to get her own photo too :)
The tent was decorated with the most beautiful details and florals!
I just loved their first dance. You can really see their love.
The speeches were super sweet and hysterical.
As I was setting up for the night shots, I was a little bummed that it hadn’t rained again yet- as I wanted rainy night shots. As I walked towards the tent to meet Ryan and Amanda, it started pouring. Perfect timing!
Amanda and Ryan – thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your amazing wedding day! It was such an awesome day and I wish you all nothing but happiness in the years to come together! I hope you guys are having a blast on your honeymoon!!
xoxo,
Brea
