Hannah + Meredith | Baltimore Engagement Session

I’ve been looking forward to getting these two in front of my camera for their engagement session since they officially booked with me almost a year ago – and their wedding is over a year away – they’re that on top of things! Hannah and Meredith have been to quite a few weddings that I’ve photographed at this point, and we first started talking about me photographing their future wedding after Megan and Danny’s wedding a year ago. Hannah is also a very talented makeup artist and has worked with several of my brides! Our paths have crossed many times and I’m so glad it’s their turn to be in front of my camera!

Meredith and Hannah’s session last Friday is easily one of my all time favorites. We had planned this session a while ago, and picked a date in September hoping that we’d get lucky and the sunflowers would be around. Thankfully we were, and the sunflowers had bloomed just days before! Hannah is obsessed with the sunflowers and it was a great place to start our session! After climbing through the sunflowers for a while, we headed down to the University of Baltimore School of Law where Meredith studies for the rest of our session. This is literally the coolest building I’ve ever been in. It’s a smart building so there are all sorts of neat features like blinds that open and close on their own based on the sunlight, and windows that open when the temperature reaches a certain range outside. The architecture is pretty awesome too. This photographer was more than excited about the new and exciting space to photograph. We got some photos on the rooftop terrace, in the law library, and around the building. It was such a fun creative challenge, and we ended up with a set of photos that capture both of their personalities in a genuine way.
