I remember the first time I met Rachel. Jordan and I had only been friends a few months, but we had quickly become vendor BFFs (If you don’t know, Jordan is a crazy talented wedding DJ). When I met Rachel, I immediately took to her the same way I took to Jordan. Which is impressive, considering we met at a party for Jordan’s DJ company and we were yelling over the music to hear each other. It wasn’t long after that that Jordan told me that he had no doubt, Rachel was the one. He started talking about his future wedding to her, and how he couldn’t wait to marry her. We had talked in the abstract about the proposal, but it wasn’t time yet. Fast forward to this May, and it was time to make legit plans. He had a date, a plan, and he wanted me to be there to capture it. Biggest honor ever. So this weekend, I was there, hiding in the bushes, as one of my best friends asked his best friend and the love of his life to marry him.
It was the perfect day filled with so much love and surprises. We started at the US Botanic Gardens for the actual proposal, then we grabbed an uber (And got a free CD from the driver of his own music. He also has written a book on relationships available on Amazon.) and headed over to ChurchKey where their closest friends and family were awaiting their arrival. Such a special day for two amazing people. Congratulations Rachel and Jordan!!! I couldn’t be happier for you!! <3
This is where Rachel found out that Jordan’s new gym friend “Brad Caplan” was actually her cousin and BFF, who had been helping Jordan on the sly to pick out the ring and plan the proposal.
AHHH LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! So happy for them!!!
wooohooo!!! Congrats Jordan and Rachel!!!
Other than the love and capturing a proposal, my favorite part about this was the UBER driving plugging his own accomplishments.
Oh my goodness! What a sweet proposal!! The look one her face is so genuine and priceless!!
This proposal is amazing! The photos in the car are so different and are very awesome, Brea! Haha what a funny story about the Uber driver.
Your Surprise Proposal was captured very well. It almost feels like I walked through the day with you guys. Love all the photos. Thanks for sharing
