Jen and Paul’s wedding this past weekend was an absolute dream to photograph. Beautiful people inside and out, surrounded by even more beautiful people. A puppy, late night taco bell, and one heck of a party too. It’s a good one.
The Couple
From the bride: “Paul and Jen met on Twitter, initially bonding over a love for fraternity/sorority recruitment. Their first date was a positive sign for the relationship ahead; they talked and flirted for nearly four hours, making Paul almost miss his flight.
These two Tweethearts dated long-distance for eight months before moving to Charleston, South Carolina. They soaked up some rays and southern culture for a year, then moved together into a south Baltimore apartment walking distance from Camden Yards. This is where the magic happens.
The two’s love for each other grew, and they adopted a furry friend to care for. They went on hikes, ran races, and played with their pup. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in June, Paul knelt down on one knee at Camden Yards and asked Jen to marry him. The two have been longing for this Wedding Day ever since.”
The Wedding
Jen and Paul are an unusually amazing couple. They’re warm, they’re fun, they’re kind, and they’re ridiculously good looking, which makes my job as a photographer really, really easy. We were comfortable with each other right away (very important), they are completely comfortable with each other (even more important), they know how to have fun (you see where this is going), it’s awesome. Their wedding day was everything I wanted for them and more. When I arrived on the wedding day, Jen had said that she’d loved seeing my most recent blog posts and knew they had made the right choice in choosing me to capture their day – she said she saw so much emotion and wanted that for her own day. Thankfully, there was no shortage of emotion to capture. Here are just a few of my favorites from Jen and Paul’s wedding.
