Welcome to the insanity that is the 2018 wedding season! We have had one wedding so far, but had over a month between that amazing wedding and this weekend’s festivities, so it feels like we’re starting fresh. To kick off three days of blog posts from this past weekend – today I present, Janae and Chris’ wedding at the Waterfall in Delaware!

The Couple

Janae and Chris met one fateful evening out with friends. One thing led to another and their groups of friends went off on their own, leaving them to really connect one on one. They both felt something special starting and have been inseparable ever since! Chris, knowing that Janae is in love with everything Disney, knew the best way to propose to her would be in front of Cinderella’s Castle in Disney World. He even asked her to be his “Disney princess forever”.

The Wedding

Janae and Chris’ wedding was fitting for a Disney princess! Chris kisses her hand like a true Princess Charming. So much love and joy – and even a flower girl dressed as Cinderella! (Who lost her shoe more than once, hilarious). I love all of their subtle Disney touches like Janae’s carriage necklace – and the beautiful ballroom at the Waterfall reminded me of Beauty and the Beast. They even recessed down the aisle post-ceremony to Carl and Ellie’s song from Up! It was such an elegant celebration for two wonderful people.
