Lindsay and Zach’s wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry had all the elements of the perfect day – a beautiful couple, madly in love, surrounded by truly awesome friends and family, gorgeous weather, and a kick ass party.

The Couple

From the couple: “Like most couples these days, we met on Bumble. What makes our story exceptional is the fact that Zach was both one of the first people Lindsay swiped on and the very first date she went on. She was sufficiently un-picky and decided to just keep dating him. Lindsay thinks she won the Bumble lottery, but Zach knows it was really him who won the lottery and Lindsay just didn’t know any better. Fast forward 2 years from that first date on the Georgetown waterfront, and Zach and Lindsay went on their first vacation together to Italy. They chose Italy both because Zach had never been and Lindsay had been many times but loved it more each time she went. One of her favorite places was the charming series of fishing towns built into the coastline–Cinque Terre. Its vibrant colors and layers of beauty matched Lindsay perfectly. Zach knew it would be the perfect place to pop the question, even though he explicitly told Lindsay on the plane ride over that he would not be proposing to her. (She asked). In reality, Zach knew he was going to ask her to marry him for a full month. Ever the puzzler, he even wrote the date in an encrypted message and sealed it in a locket he had given her for her birthday on August 31st. Zach popped the question in the morning, asking Lindsay if she ever got around to decrypting that message. She hadn’t. But if she had, she’d know that it was a date–the date that would launch Zach and Lindsay on the most amazing journey leading to this moment.”

The Wedding

I’ve had high hopes for Lindsay and Zach’s wedding since I first met them earlier this year. They are awesome and they’re the perfect fit for us. Their top priority for the wedding was to enjoy it and to allow us to capture the day as it happened. We stole away briefly for sunset and night shots, but we spent very little time taking portraits so they could spend the most time possible with the people they love most. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out for them! Here’s a small sampling of my favorites from the day.
