Brooke and Andrew’s wedding this past weekend at the Annapolis Maritime Museum was a wonderful day filled with good friends, good food and good vibes!
The Couple
Brooke and Andrew met online on Plenty of Fish. They were interested right away, but Andrew sealed the deal early on when he sent Brooke (a KC native) a picture of him eating BBQ in Kansas City and said “I miss spending time with you.” We got engaged on a weekend away in a Bed and Breakfast in Oxford, MD. He proposed while sitting in Adirondack chairs by the water.
The Wedding
Brooke and Andrew’s wedding helped us kick off our “fall” wedding season in the right way (as they got married on the last day of summer). A feel good, laid back day with amazing people and a good time. Brooke is the type of person who wants to make sure the people she loves are taken care of and well fed, and that was the theme of the day. As we arrived she offered us lunch, cocktail hour had awesome hors d’oeuvres and oysters, there was a delicious dinner and then a late night food truck with munchies.
But what was really the highlight of the day was the relationships between Brooke, Andrew, and everyone around them. They are truly special people who are well loved by everyone in their lives and it just felt good to be surrounded by the good vibes all day. Here are a few favorites from our time with them!
