This is a super special session and I’m so excited to share on the blog today! If you’re one of our wedding couples from the last 3 years, there’s a very good chance you’ve met our lovely Brooke! She’s a literal ray of sunshine and has been the best addition to our team. Needless to say, I was pretty darn excited when she and Brian got engaged in late 2019, and I’m SO excited to shoot their wedding this year!

Now let’s back up a minute. Those of you who follow the blog closely may be having a bit of deja vu – and you’re right, Brooke and Brian did already have a super intimate ceremony in 2020 and you can see photos from their wedding at Brooke’s Gram’s house here.

So anyway, now that it’s the year of their big wedding – it was time to get some engagement photos done! When I asked Brooke where they wanted to do them, she made me giggle with her response… “your backyard?”

So we did just that! We started off at Soldier’s Delight – less than 10 minutes from my house for some woodsy shots and photos in the tall grasses and snow, and then back to my house to make some magic in my now infamous bamboo. But really, I don’t think it matters where we were or what the backdrop was – nothing can distract from the light and love between these two.
