Kristan and Dan’s wedding this past weekend at the Winslow was absolutely perfect.

The Couple

From the couple: “For some couples, it’s love at first swipe. But for Dan and Kristan, it took a couple swipes — first on Hinge… then on Bumble. The lovebirds matched on not one, but two dating apps (just to be 100% sure). Yet once they met up for their first date at Hersh’s in South Baltimore in July 2019, it became love at first slice (of pizza).

“Dan and Kristan moved in together that following January to Anthem House, enjoying their lovely neighborhood of Locust Point. That is, until the pandemic hit and all they could enjoy was each other’s company. But their love blossomed, and so did their need for space while working from home, so they upgraded to apartment #2 that July.

“Months flew by, and on October 24th, Dan proposed to Kristan on the pool deck at Anthem House overlooking the harbor, a beautiful moment shared with both of their families there to surprise her and celebrate their love.”

The Wedding

This past weekend we got to celebrate alongside Kristan, Dan, their parents and their 238741234 friends and family members in their wedding party. I’m making a joke about it, but seriously, they are so loved by everyone in their lives, and it’s such a wonderful thing to see how many people they have in their core group who absolutely adore them. It was an absolutely perfect day to start off a beautiful marriage. Congratulations, friends. Here’s to the start of one heck of a journey.
