Kylie + John | Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Wedding Photos

Kylie and John were married this past Saturday at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and it was such a fun and wonderful day!

The Couple

From the couple: “We met our freshmen year at the University of Delaware almost nine years ago! We both lived on the same dorm floor and gradually got to know each other :) John thought Kylie was mean at first but the truth is she didn’t know how to flirt lol!

“We got engaged in Downtown Annapolis. Kylie grew up near Annapolis so most summers John would come to visit her in MD and they would go on dates in DTA. They had delicious Joss sushi and then John popped the question down by the pier. The Annapolis Boat show was going on that same day and Kylie didn’t want to attract a lot of attention so the exchange was very lowkey and probably looked a little sus to outsiders! We went back to Kylie’s mom’s house and celebrated there”

The Wedding

Kylie and John were married on Saturday and I had so much fun capturing their day. Their friends are SO much fun to be around, we were very literally dancing all day. Kylie and John shared private vows with each other before the ceremony, and more than a few tears were shed. We were in for a special day.

If you’ve been alive this year, you’ve probably noticed that it’s rained pretty much every single Saturday on the East Coast in some capacity. This Saturday was no different. However, lucky for us, the rain held off until after we’d had the opportunity to get a ton of beautiful outdoor photos at CBBC, taking advantage of the perfect overcast light and gorgeous views. The rain did move their ceremony inside but between the gorgeous florals and stunning views it hardly felt like a plan B.

The reception was a blast filled with excellent food, a packed dance floor (Thanks Crow Entertainment!), and our very busy photo booth. All in all, it was perfect. Here are some of my favorites.
