Earlier this week, I met up with Alexis and Daniel for their engagement session at Glen Echo Park. Hilariously enough, after 14 years of weddings, I had never shot there until this past weekend, and then in the span of four days, shot there twice. I had a lot of fun with this session, challenging myself to see things differently than I had literally just days before to make photos that felt truly unique to Alexis and Daniel.
These two have been together since 2014, and their chemistry made my job ridiculously easy. They slipped so naturally into every moment together, and you can just feel how comfortable and connected they are. Their outfits were also absolutely perfect for Glen Echo’s colorful vintage amusement park vibe and tied the whole session together so well. I even took a ring shot ON Alexis’ dress, lol.
We had so much fun walking around, getting to know each other better, playing around for some fun photos, and making the most of a gorgeous night. I even got to briefly meet Alexis’ mom, Lynn, who was dog handler to their sweet girl, Darcy. I really, really enjoyed my time with these two and I cannot wait for their wedding NEXT MONTH!
