Tiffany and Paul’s wedding this weekend in Baltimore was the perfect combination of their two worlds, and so much fun to capture.

The Couple

Tiffany and Paul met online in Autumn 2019 in (depending on your romantic viewpoint) a “stars aligning” or “Venn diagram of nerdy interests” fashion – a History DPhil with a keen interest in science, and a Physics PhD with a fascination for history – we hit it off and met up for the first time at the “George Street Social” in Oxford the day after Halloween. We carried on dating for a few weeks before she disappeared off to Hawaii for an extended Christmas break. Post-Hawaii was a touch more complicated due to pandemics, lockdowns, and so on, but we persevered and carried on.

Fast forward to 2025 and our life together has come a long way – we bought a house, and a car, and started our little family with Lottie – a lovely but cheeky Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – and have been building a happy, loving, respectful relationship. On 26th May 2025 (Memorial Day), in the afterglow of another joyful family celebration, Paul proposed to Tiffany on the porch of the family farm in Morgantown, WV. Tiffany said yes. So here we are.

The Wedding

As I said earlier, Tiffany and Paul’s wedding was a perfect combination of their worlds, an intersection of their career paths, interests, and homelands. This was such a fun wedding for us to capture! We started the day off with Paul and Tiffany at their respective “getting ready locations” before embarking on the Pride of Baltimore II for a sail around the harbor, a hand fasting ceremony overlooking Ft. McHenry, and finally docking in the Inner Harbor for their actual wedding ceremony outside the Maryland Science Center. Once at the science center they treated their guests to a rooftop cocktail hour overlooking the city, a planetarium show, a delicious dinner amongst the dino exhibit, and then finally a lego competition! It was so much fun, and so uniquely them. We loved every second. Here are just some of my favorites from Tiffany and Paul’s magical wedding day.
