We spent a lot of time in DC this past week. Jen and Sean's session was day two of four spent in our Nation's Capital for photography! We were treated to a beautiful sunrise, and although the cherry blossoms were mostly gone Thursday morning, so were the crowds and it was like we had the entire city to ourselves. April 3, 2013 DC Cherry Blossom Festival

Last weekend I had an engagement session around sunrise at the DC Monuments for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Unfortunately the snow that hit early last week pushed back the date for the blossoms and we were hard pressed to find any blooming trees. I arrived bright (it was still dark) and early to figure out where to park, and got some beautiful shots of the Jefferson Memorial before sunrise.
