I am so excited to share Sarah and Brian’s engagement session from this past Friday! From Sarah’s first email to me, I was over the top excited to meet her. She was so sweet and enthusiastic, a referral from a friend, and I’m obsessed with her wedding venue– the American Visionary Art Museum. I’d say it was meant to be. Thankfully they agreed and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in just a couple of months! As are many couples, Sarah and Brian were a little nervous when they first showed up to their engagement session… but by the end these two were certifiable pros. We had gotten to the point where I didn’t have to direct them at all and they’d just cycle through all of my poses and add in some super cute affectionate stuff of their own! Such a beautiful (albeit a bit humid) evening with these two! So thrilled with how they turned out!
We started off their session at Patterson Park – as I’m sure you’ve all noticed, this has become one of my favorite new spots, I just love the color of the pagoda and all of the gorgeous greenery and that LIGHT!
So beautiful, Sarah!
How cute are these two?!
See? Already rocking as a model and we were still at the first location!
And of course, my new favorite ring shot! These flowers were much more stable than I expected!
After we finished up at Patterson Park it was off to Fells Point! We were photobombed by the very Baltimore pirate cruise.
You may remember my barnacle ring shot from Alexis and Brian’s engagement session this April. I was happy to see the barnacles were still there!
Love this!
I’ve been doing engagement sessions in Fells Point for a while now, and this was the first time I was gutsy enough to get down onto this floating thing with the boats! I’ve always wanted to but never had the nerve. I credit our Galápagos trip and all of the transfers from boat to dinghy to land and back for my newfound confidence!
Totally paid off! I love the fun color of these!
Sarah + Brian – I had a blast with you guys on Friday and I can’t wait for September!!
I love her 1st dress!! Do pretty and a perfect location.
I’m so not a “shoe person” but I adore her shoes with her first outfit! And what a perfect time of day for this session too! So pretty!
Ahhhhh I love all of these!!! Brea you know how to work some magic :) So much fun! It took us a little while to get comfortable but now I can’t wait for more on our wedding day!!
these are so gorgeous- i love those locations!! love the pop of color with the kayaks!! :)
What a fantastic session! You really captured their spirit + love for each other :)
beautiful session! they looked like total naturals by the end!
Ha. I have always wanted to climb down where those kayaks are. Great shots, chica!!
That Emily comment is mine…she doesn’t want to jump down where the row boats are. We are sharing a comp and she was still logged in here. Lamesauce.
