July 16, 2014 Tanya + Yian | Engineer’s Club Wedding in Baltimore
Eight years ago this Saturday, Yian and Tanya had their first date–it was a full moon. This Saturday was also a full moon – a coincidence that will only happen 3 more times in their lives together. The stars aligned for the perfect wedding date, and lead to a wonderful wedding day. Tanya and Yian’s wedding this weekend at the Engineer’s Club was absolutely breathtaking. The Engineer’s Club is such an elegant location for a wedding, and all of their beautiful florals and classy details were the perfect additions to make it their own! You’ll be blown away by how gorgeous everything turned out and it was all done by the bride and groom- no wedding planner! Which I’m sure was no easy feat! Tanya and Yian are such an awesome couple, both completely brilliant and so sweet and so warm. It was such an honor to be a part of their special day and I’m so excited to share a few of my favorites!
Tanya’s Anna Maier Martine wedding gown was absolute perfection… but just wait until you see it on her!

Tanya and Yian had a very sweet first look across from the Engineer’s club in Mount Vernon. I loved seeing these two shed their nerves and bask in their pure joy.

I am in love with the florals by The Floral Studio in Baltimore – so gorgeous! The pops of plum in the bridesmaids bouquets and the gold in Tanya’s- perfect.
Tanya… oh Tanya… just stunning.
Yian was looking quite handsome and dapper as well!
Before the ceremony we headed inside for a few more portraits – I love these!
They had a touching ceremony, beautifully officiated by a close friend.
After a few family photos we headed outside for more portraits of the newlyweds! Love these!
The reception was so perfectly decorated. How gorgeous is this!?
The place cards had a beautiful design on the back with the Baltimore skyline and featuring the full moon. Tanya did an amazing job with all of the design work!
Their favors also featured the moon motif!
The pair entered the reception and had an incredible first dance!
During dinner, there were hilarious and heart warming speeches by both families, the maid of honor and best man.
Following the cake cutting, there was a special performance by the Maid of Honor and Groom!
DJ Shawn from My Deejay threw down and it was quite the party!!
Before heading out I was lucky enough to get a few more photos of the newlyweds… I love these shots of the spiral staircase.
