Robin + Billy | Artsy Engagement Session | Baltimore, MD

Engagements

I adore Robin and Billy. I was psyched to meet them from their first email, and at our initial meeting we hung out for almost three hours. What struck me about this meeting was how open and honest they were from the jump – they told me their entire love story, all the while laughing and beaming and showering each other with praise and affection. They have a beautiful love, but individually they’re also incredibly magnetic people. I knew that not only were they the perfect fit, but that they would become one of my many couples to turn into legit actual friends.

Needless to say, I was pretty pumped when it was time for their engagement session. A few hours before I needed to leave the house for Hagerstown to meet them for their session I checked the forecast and the radar, and as it turned out, there was a storm system moving through that part of Maryland and Hagerstown was in for a night of on and off rain showers. We decided to call it and reschedule. And then Billy called me back a few minutes later saying how they were really excited about doing it that night and wondered if we could move it to Baltimore since the weather was looking better there. Within 20 minutes we had a backup location – which none of us had ever seen before, and the evening was on!

We met up at a mural between Horseshoe Casino and M&T Bank Stadium, on a quiet (albeit sketchily so) street with no one else was around. And it ended up being perfect. Colorful and interesting and the perfect fun backdrop to capture these two colorful and interesting people and their special love. Here are just a few of my favorites.
