Last Friday I photographed Dom and Sarah’s wedding at the Annapolis Courthouse. I don’t know exactly what I was expecting going into this, but it wasn’t at all what I had expected. Their ceremony was sweet and personalized, they had 30+ of their closest friends and family in attendance, and they dressed to the nines! It was absolutely beautiful. The heat was unbearable that day but it didn’t put a damper on what was one of the happiest days of their lives! And it was done truly in their style.
I started the day off at Sarah’s mom’s house where she got ready.
I just love the love of a mother and son!Sarah you are just too gorgeous!
Then it was off to their apartment where Dom got ready with the help of his amazing mom! (Hi MJ!! :))
We met in a garden in Annapolis a few blocks from the courthouse for a very sweet first look.
And then it was time to get married!!
Oh Buddah, you make me laugh! This kid is such a ham! Any time the camera was pointed at him he put on the biggest smile!
YAY!!! Married!
The pinky promise photo idea came from a photo that Sarah saw on pinterest. I put my own twist on it, showing them kissing, out of focus, also in the frame!
They made the next two adorable signs just for pictures!
And then we wandered around Annapolis to get some fun and creative portraits of the two of them…
But it was over 104° (and I was sick!!) and Sarah and I felt dehydrated so we stopped for a drink.
We almost passed this spot without taking any photos when Sarah reminded me that I said how much I loved this red wall when we scouted the location 2 weeks before. I’m so glad she spoke up because I just love these!
Once we got down to the water there was a nice breeze that helped up cool down a tiny bit to get through the last of the photos.
These are amazing pictures!!! You did a great job and I love the pics :)
You made our wedding day complete! Thank you so much for all of the beautiful pictures and memories! What a wonderful person, photographer, and friend!
