Houck Family ~ Cylburn Arboretum Family Session

This Sunday I met Mandy, Tim, Tucker and Jo-Jo at the Cylburn Arboretum for their fall family session. It was a beautiful day, 63 degrees, there were still some leaves on the trees giving us lovely color to work with (a nice surprise after Hurricane Sandy), great light, and a wonderful and photogenic family. A photographer’s dream! I couldn’t be happier with how their session turned out and I am so excited to share them with you!

How impressively coordinated are they? If you are trying to figure out how to dress for your session look no further! This family has got it DOWN! Coordinated, but not perfectly matching with a common color palette is the way to go. I love that not only are they beautifully coordinated but they also chose to dress in “fall” colors. Everything just looks so together with this session!

I can’t believe I’ve been shooting at the Cylburn Arboretum all year and I never noticed this amazing tree!

Before we finished our session, Jo-Jo the dachshund joined us for a few family portraits as well!
