March 29, 2013 Pauliina and Keith | Havre de Grace Engagement Session
Sunday evening I met up with Pauliina and Keith for their engagement session in Havre de Grace, Maryland. As I told them while we were walking around, this was only my third time to the area, and my first time to the area where I had an opportunity to explore. I had never seen the lighthouse in person nor walked the boardwalk. They took me on a tour of the area, that turned out to be so much more than just a physical tour. I saw places where Pauliina played as a little girl, walked the boardwalk where Keith and Pauliina would visit when they were just friends, visited the spot where they first fell in love, talking for hours on end night after night, and the very spot where Keith asked Pauliina to spend her forever with him. These two are absolutely made for each other, and I got goosebumps while they gave me this intimate tour of their relationship. The goosebumps were totally unrelated to the cold, but yes, it was very cold as well.
Unfortunately it was a pretty dark and dreary day when we met, but these two just light up around each other, you may not even notice.
This little lookout is where Keith proposed to Pauliina. He was originally hoping to propose at the bench where they spent many nights watching the water, the very spot where they fell in love. On that day, there were fishermen using that bench and fish guts all over it. The relocation was a good move. She said yes, after all. It worked ;)

Pauliina used to play on the rocks when she was a little girl. It was really awesome being invited into their life as they shared such an important location with me!
Isn’t her ring just fabulous? Keith did a fantastic job. I’m in love with both of these shots of her ring.
Thank you both for inviting me into your life for the evening and sharing such an amazing place and all of your experiences. It was truly fantastic getting to know you better and I am so excited to watch you say your vows and commit to forever together in just a few short weeks!
