I just love it when sessions featuring my favorite couples get picked up by wedding blogs. I’m not the most consistent at submitting my work (especially since I have yet to invest in Two Bright Lights, an amazing program that helps pair up great sessions with blogs looking for specific types of sessions to feature, I know, I know, I need to) but I love when I have a session that I just know would be great for one of the local blogs and they agree. Charm City Wed specifically features engagement sessions and weddings in the Baltimore Metro Area. Karen and Thom wanted their session to be at both Patterson Park and Fells Point. This was my first time shooting at Patterson Park and only the second in Fells Point and I loved the locations, but more importantly the two of them and their awesome energy. I was so thrilled that the girls at CCW loved the session as well and chose to feature it!

This is the end of my third full week of being self employed and I have to say, so far it’s been a really awesome ride. I’ve been way busier than I ever anticipated, and my business has already been growing in just those few short weeks. I’m so thrilled at the time I’ve been able to put in, but as well the time I’ve gotten back and have been able to spend with the people who mean the most to me. I’ll definitely be posting more about my office and my thoughts on self-employment in the upcoming weeks. But a short preview: Although it’s not easy, It’s everything I thought it’d be and more!
