It’s officially busy season!

August 23, 2013 It’s officially busy season!

In case there was any question–I blogged FIVE days this week, people, FIVE–it’s officially busy season. And I am SO excited. Fall has always been “busy” for me, even before going full time with my business and having 22 weddings (including a handful I’m second shooting for Rachel Smith), a bar mitzvah and more sessions than I can count in just 4 months. The difference between then and now is that before I used to dread the craziness and pray for it to go quickly. But now? I’m excited. I’m excited because there are couples that I have grown to really love that I haven’t seen in months, venues I will shoot at for the first time and am thrilled for the creative challenges of a new location, and so much happiness to witness and be a part of.

Speaking of being a part of happiness, last night I witnessed a beautiful intimate wedding of a very good friend to his better (and much prettier) half. I love these two and I’m so happy that Dave has found someone who fits into his life as perfectly as Denise does. Before meeting her he told me time and again that he would never get married again, and yet meeting her changed everything. I’ll tell more about their story with a full post next week, but here are a few of my favorites of the happy couple from last night.

Speaking of old friends and happy couples– two amazing people who I feel like I’ve known forever are getting married TOMORROW!!!! Alice and Chad are getting married at Linganore Winecellars and I am SO excited!!
