Anna is such an awesome girl, I don’t think it’s possible to not like Anna. She’s so sweet, full of laughter and her smiles are just contagious. From the first email, her enthusiasm was palpable, and I loved the email I got from her after our meeting, with the subject “Hello my photographer! :)” I was so excited to finally meet her fiancé Gene and work with them for their engagement session last Thursday! We met at Sherwood Gardens, where I had shot just a week and a half before and I was shocked at how different it looked in just a matter of 10 days. Many of the flowers from my previous session were gone and other new ones that weren’t there before had popped up. It’s such a beautiful location and it’s constantly changing.

Gene is just as sweet and fun as Anna and we had a blast talking, laughing and wandering through the park. I don’t think I’ve ever had a couple laugh so much during their session and I just love how these turned out! These two are also crazy good models.

There’s that laughter! Anna said that she would see people doing these poses on my blog and it always looked so natural and sweet but when it was time to actually do it, it was just funny! It didn’t take long for them to warm up and become experts at being photographed.Anna has the most amazing ring. Gene did an amazing job. Love this whole series. Anna and Gene, I loved spending time with you guys last week and can’t wait for your wedding this December- we are going to have a blast!
