May 14, 2014 Jason + Erin | Woodsy Engagement Session
From the first email with Erin, I knew I was going to love her. She wrote about how they met, their jobs, and their kitten. I was already hooked. We met in person and they were even more awesome than I expected – and I had high hopes! :) Jason works at an outdoor challenge course, and wanted to work a little of his love for climbing into their engagement session. Let’s just say I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while!
Last Friday I met Erin and Jason for their engagement session at the Broadcreek Memorial Scout Reservation. We started off at the challenge course at the reservation. Jason climbed up the course and then belayed down for a few shots. Here’s a little sneak peek, the rest will come at the end of the post :)
I love Erin’s ring, the beautiful leaf motifs in the setting also compliment this location perfectly. I took a few shots of her ring with the carabiners and rope. The contrast of the rust with the shiny beautiful ring makes this one of my new favorite ring shots!

This is one of my favorites. I kept making poor Erin stand on things so they’d be closer in height. I swear it was worth it ;)
On the right you can see what she’s standing on, and Jason’s still taller!

Did I mention how much fun these two are? I love all of the goofy outtakes!
And the whole reason we had the session at the camp: The spiderman kiss.
