I couldn’t have dreamed up a better wedding day for Jameson and Matt – though my dream wedding day for them may have been a tiny bit warmer. Everything from Jameson’s bridal details, to the amazing sunset and colors for the Federal Hill photos, to the gorgeous American Visionary Art Museum for their ceremony and reception, it was a photographer’s dream. Add in the coolest group of people ever and you’ve got a ridiculously fun wedding! Lauren and Bryan’s wedding earlier this year had a very similar cast of characters since not only are Jameson and Lauren best friends, but so are their moms. It was SO much fun and every bit of awesome that I expected. SO thrilled with how this one turned out and I’m so excited to share their blog post!
Jameson got ready at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel in Baltimore – just around the corner from the American Visionary Art Museum. The staircase is absolutely breathtaking and I was so excited to be able to photograph her dress here!
I’m obsessed with Jameson’s gold glitter Kate Spade shoes and her amazing rings!
How amazing are their invitations? I love the design to work in the LOVE Balloon at AVAM!
Such an amazingly gorgeous bride!
We then headed to Federal Hill for their first look! I just love these two!
Such an amazingly gorgeous group!
And a ridiculously FUN group at that!
Gorgeous girls!
I don’t even know what this is, but yay! Haha.
LOVE these two!
Such troopers, you’d never know it was 20-something degrees out. Poor Jameson! I’m so grateful for them making this a priority – especially since the next few are some of my all time favorite shots at Federal Hill. The colors are just AMAZING and it was absolutely worth the wait.
LOVE this one!
They were married on the first floor of the Jim Rouse Visionary Center – and I love the new piece to the right, from the Kinetic Sculpture Race, a Crocodile decked out in Clocks entitled “Tick Tock the Croc”, and he apparently even has his own Facebook page. Such a fun addition!
Check out those happy faces! I just love Jameson and her dad Bruce. He’s a riot!
YAY! Married! :) How gorgeous are these two?
The reception was beautiful and classy with navy, pink and silver accents. I also LOVE that in lieu of favors they donated to Operation Paws for Homes.
Such a sweet first dance.
And awesome speeches! Lauren – you did an amazing job summing up 31 years of friendship ;)
Nothing about Jameson’s dance with her dad surprised me. These two are hilarious and this was so fitting.
Other unsurprising things that Bruce did – singing New York, New York – a tradition at every wedding, and my second time witnessing this.
… also my second time witnessing this.
Needless to say, it was a FUN night!
And to wrap up this amazing wedding’s blog – some night shots!
Jameson + Matt, I’m so glad you guys chose me to capture your wedding! It was such an amazing day and I had a blast! I hope Hawaii is amazing, I can’t wait to hear about it and fully expect pictures so I can live vicariously through you! xoxo, Brea
