2014 has been beyond incredible, with so many wonderful couples and beautiful weddings. Anna and Gene’s wedding day was so gorgeous, I couldn’t have imagined a better way to wrap up the perfect wedding season! From my first conversations with Anna, I’ve come to absolutely adore her. I look forward to her super sweet texts, and any time I talk to her, I can’t help but smile. She’s the sweetest girl I’ve ever met and I’m so incredibly thankful that this journey has brought her into my life! Her now hubby Gene is just as awesome too! He’s such a genuine and wonderful person and he worships the ground she walks on. These two are so well suited for each other and so loved by everyone who knows them. Their wedding day just felt like the embodiment of love. Everything was perfect beyond words and I couldn’t be happier that I was able to be a part of it!
Anna and Gene were married this past Saturday, 12/13/14, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore. I’ve been dying to shoot a wedding at this gorgeous venue and it did not disappoint! Anna was also upgraded to the Presidential Suite for getting ready! Hello amazing room! I still can’t get over the incredible view and I’m so glad we had the extra space to work with!
I just adore Anna’s dress! Sparkle, ruffles, and all sorts of gorgeous!
Such beautiful girls!!
I just love that laugh! It’s contagious!
Girl, you’re gorgeous!
This picture cracks me up! Polina and Karina, Anna’s mom and twin sister, both turned to the camera and smiled, posing perfectly when helping Anna with her shoes. It was adorable! You can tell they’ve done this before!
I am obsessed with this one on the right. Ugh, so pretty. (Anna, there goes the ugh again!)
After Anna was done getting dressed, I headed down to grab Gene and take him out for the first look! But of course we had to get some of his finishing touches too :)
Such a handsome groom!
I love this one with the reflection of sunset in the window!
Their first look was so sweet! He couldn’t have had a bigger smile!
Such a stunning couple!!
What a view, huh? I love our city!
Love!!
Now here’s my favorite part. As if it wasn’t amazing enough to have a clear day, especially with all of the rain we’ve had lately, we had a BEAUTIFUL sunset! Also kind of fun, on the left you can see fireworks over M&T Stadium, where the Army-Navy game was going on.
I am obsessed with all of these sunset photos.
Of course I couldn’t go inside without some sunset bridal portraits! I’m obsessed with every single one.
Favorite!!
Fun fact – the guys looking out the window in the top right are the groomsmen!
Yep, it was an amazing day. We hopped inside real quick to warm up and head down to the first floor for just a couple more shots outside.
And then back to the lobby where we were able to photograph on the iconic Four Seasons staircase! It’s a bit of a tricky spot since it’s so dark, and I am so so so pleased with how these turned out!
This was such a good group! I was lucky with them!
The amount of pretty in this photo is unfair.
Seriously, how gorgeous are these girls!?
And such a good looking group of guys too!
After we wrapped up family and bridal party photos, it was time for the ketubah signing and then time to get MARRIED!!
I just love this mother-daughter moment!
The Four Seasons staff quickly flipped the room for the reception during cocktail hour. We headed out for a few night shots during this time which you’ll see at the end of this post. Once they were done, I had a ball photographing all of the pretty!
I am beyond obsessed with this beautiful cake! And it smelled amazing too!!
Anna and Gene were lovingly and enthusiastically welcomed into the reception, and from the very beginning, the TI Fusion Band kept the energy level up and never let it drop!
After their very sweet first dance, they went straight into the Hora, and then had a dance set!
During the first course, the parents gave touching speeches in Russian!
And during the second course, the Maid of Honor and Best Man gave their speech with a little help from the flower girl.
These two are so close with their families! It’s beautiful.
The party was a complete blast!
And to wrap up what’s probably my longest wedding post of the year – the amazing night shots!!
Anna and Gene,
I just adore you two, and I wish you both nothing but happiness in your future together as Mr. and Mrs.! I’m so so happy our paths crossed and I can’t wait to see where life’s journey takes you! I’m so glad to have gained a friend from this in you, Anna. You’re amazing! Have a blast in Hawaii!! I can’t wait to hear all about it and fully expect pictures so I can live vicariously through you!
xoxo,
Brea
