On Cinco de Mayo, I met up with Alexa and Dan for their engagement session! We had a beautiful morning in DC and I loved hanging out with these two for several hours! We got a delicious breakfast, talked about everything from the wedding to Disney to Alexa’s long list of food allergies, and took some pretty beautiful photos in the meantime! It was also Alexa’s birthday, so it was just bound to be a great day. I love how all of these turned out and I can’t wait for their wedding this October – it’s going to be amazing.
Even though we both missed our turns and ended up being a little late, we made it just in time for a perfect sunrise. I couldn’t have special ordered a better one!
Love these!
Here I was putting my new Sigma ART 50mm 1.4 lens to the test. This whole series is shot at 1.4 – and is just dreamy. AND in focus! Why it took me this long to get this lens, I’ll never know.
Most of these golden light ones are at 1.4 as well. Obsessed with this lens, and obsessed with these two! They’re just perfect together.
LOVE this one!!
Alexa’s Tacori engagement ring is just stunning. One of my new favorite ring shots, for sure.
Alexa and Dan – I had a blast hanging out with you guys and I can’t wait for October!! We’re going to have so much fun.
Your new lens is amazing! I’m so happy for you. Is it your new favorite now?
