Kendall + Dean | Graffiti Alley + Fells Point Engagement Session

July 30, 2015 Kendall + Dean | Graffiti Alley + Fells Point Engagement Session

Oh this session was SO much fun. Kendall and Dean are hilarious and absolutely adorable together. We had some really awesome locations to explore and it was a blast. We met before sunrise in Fells Point and were bummed when it was too foggy for a good sunrise (yet not foggy enough to get foggy photos, dumb) and then went to Graffiti Alley, where there was construction. But you know what? These things made it more of a creative challenge and we got some incredible photos out of it!

For my photografriends: MAJOR shout out to MagMod for giving me the portability to quickly change modifiers and use OCF for the vast majority of this session. The entire Graffiti Alley portion was shot with OCF and I love it.

The plus side to getting to Fells Point before sunrise? You can get night shots still! Haha.

LOVE!

I love shooting through these Kayaks in Fells, though the coolest part of this is that it was actually kind of relevant for them – Dean had been a part of the Canton Kayak Club previously!

They are dipping MASTERS. Seriously.

Then it was off to Graffiti Alley, where there was a truck in one side, and construction fencing and workers in the middle. But you know what, we made it work anyway! One of the construction guys showed us his hat – which had a drawing on it and said “If you sit still long enough, they’ll draw on you!” Haha.

I adore this one!

This was at the point that I decided we might as well embrace the construction and make it a part of the session. I’m glad I did – this is probably my favorite!

And then Kendall pointed out the left over spray paint can. Of course I had to do a few ring shots!

I loved shooting in this small streak of sunlight. These two were the best models.

Dean and Kendall, thanks for spending your morning with me! I can’t wait to get you in front of my camera again next year for your wedding!
