This day was 10 years in the making. Sandy and Brett are high school sweethearts and as anyone who knows them will tell you, they are meant to be. Brett ended up following Sandy to Penn State for college, and while they started their careers they were taken all over the DMV area. Eventually they both landed in Baltimore, moved in together, and shortly after Brett proposed to Sandy by the water in Fells Point! This is actually how our paths first crossed – an email from Brett asking if I was available to photograph the proposal! Unfortunately I was already booked for the day and time he had planned for the proposal so I wasn’t able to capture it for them, but I was so excited when they circled back to me for the wedding!

I try not to play favorites, but Sandy and Brett’s wedding is easily one of my all time favorite weddings to photograph. Everything was so bright and colorful and vibrant, every detail was perfectly thought out and executed, the weather was incredible, and the couple radiant with joy. When I arrived at Celebrations at the Bay, I was greeted by a giant gold elephant and my jaw dropped. Inside the tent, the team with Feats Inc. was still setting up, but it was already transformed into one of the most beautiful reception spaces I have ever seen. Sandy’s Hayley Paige wedding gown was a show stopper, and the bright florals by Flowers and Fancies were the perfect pop of color with so many beautiful flowers and textures included. It was absolutely a photographer’s dream day.

    This was such a perfect day and I LOVE the image of them in the gazebo! Everything about this wedding was amazing and I hope that their honeymoon is just as fantastic.
