This past Saturday, my husband Steve and I celebrated our four year wedding anniversary, and for the second year in the row our anniversary fell on a weekend and I spent the day at a wedding! Honestly, as silly as this sounds, I love working weddings on our anniversary. Watching another couple vow their love to each other is a wonderful way to remember exactly what it is we’re celebrating.
Paul and Christie are so sweet and so fun and I loved being a part of their big day. Their friends and families are as fun and wonderful as they are! It was an absolute blast. This wedding was a mid-day wedding, with a 12:30 pm ceremony, and an end time of 5:00 pm, and yet the dance floor was still going strong most of the afternoon! I couldn’t be happier for these two and more proud to welcome them to the 10/10 anniversary club!
Christie’s ring is so gorgeous! I love the sapphire center stone.
The button hook used here was a family heirloom! It was also much more efficient than any other buttoning methods I’d ever seen!
So gorgeous.
Here Christie proclaims “I’m Batman!”
and so her Matron of Honor Emma ran behind yelling “I’m Robin!” … it was a really fun day.
Beautiful ladies!
Meanwhile, Mandy was with the guys at their condo.
Christie and Paul were married at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, Maryland. Such a beautiful location!
We had very limited time for bride and groom portraits, but man we rocked the time crunch! Paul and Christie are so sweet and I just love their laughter. It was so effortless to capture their love.
Inside the mansion, the room was stunning. I especially love their cake from Sugar Bakers! It was SO delicious too.
After the parent dances and touching speeches, it was time for the party! Brian Doane with Event Pro killed it!
While Christie and Paul stole away for a private moment to enjoy some of their delicious wedding cake, I took the opportunity to grab one last set of images.
Christie and Paul, it was such an honor to capture your wedding day! I wish you nothing but the best! I can’t wait to hear all about your amazing honeymoon this winter.
xoxo,
Brea
