Laura and Chris met in 2012 on Match.com after Laura signed up to meet some locals and see more of Baltimore. She thought she was only going to be in town a few short months for work. Then, Chris came along and changed everything. They had their first date at Max’s Taphouse in Fells Point, which brought their wedding day full-circle. Chris brews his own beer and he whipped up a giant batch for their guests to enjoy at the reception and bottled even more as favors for guests to take home at the end of the night. One of my favorite moments was the first time Laura got emotional. Seeing Laura get teary-eyed, her niece said to her, “Just remember all the dishes you’ll have to do tomorrow.” From then on, every time Laura felt tears coming on, she would say “doing dishes” as her own personal mantra. Laura and Chris were all smiles all day, it was contagious. Even now, days later, I still can’t stop smiling thinking about their day.
Westminster Hall and Burying Grounds didn’t disappoint, a historic church and burial ground where Edgar Allan Poe is buried. It provided a unique, meaningful backdrop to Laura and Chris’s careful planning.

Check out all of the awesome beer Chris made! Very cool. And I love-love-love the seated portrait of Laura in front of the organ, absolutely gorgeous. Such a sweet couple, and looks like one heck of a party!
Well that’s a cool venue. They picked the perfect photographer for the challenge of shooting at a burial ground…..you rocked it! And that full length vertical shot of Laura on the steps in front of the organ pipes is absolutely stunning.
THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! I ALWAYS LOVE HOW RICH AND FULL OF LIFE YOUR IMAGES ARE. SO TALENTED!
