I am SO excited to share this session on the blog! Gabby was a bridesmaid in Sarah and Kareem’s wedding earlier this year and I was so excited when she reached out about her wedding. When I met with Gabby and Will, I loved them right away and was anxiously awaiting their engagement session. We got together in DC at Meridian Hill Park the evening we finished Cory and Lawrence’s session on the Eastern Shore. It’s been a busy fall. We were greeted with two warm and wonderful humans and a beautiful day at one of my favorite parks in DC – even though the stupid fountain was empty. It was also hilarious because early on in the session, Will and Gabby had mentioned that they looked up some tips online about how to make sure your engagement photos weren’t cheesy – and then proceeded to bring a few props – some books, some baseball stuff since they’re both huge baseball fans (which, for the record, I thought were awesome)… which then lead to the hilarious comment later in the day “Man, I’m so glad we brought all these props to make sure our engagement photos weren’t cheesy, that was a close one.” LOL. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if you think it turned out cheesy, but I think it was a pretty awesome time with two pretty amazing people, and that’s the main takeaway :)
Really cute! I think you captured just the perfect amount of cheese. :) The light in these is awesome – I especially love the one where it’s perfectly placed on her eyeball.
Scrolling down it feels as if every photo tells a different story. Unique and beautiful in its own way. Loved your perspectives!
haha! not cheesy is my vote! beautiful images of a lovely couple!!
