Rachel and Jordan’s wedding this past weekend at Lansdowne Resort and Spa was the perfect way for us to kick off the second half of this year’s wedding season!
The Couple
Rachel and Jordan are law school sweethearts! As told by Rachel: “We knew of each other through mutual friends, and Jordan reached out to me through the mobile trivia game QuizUp. We started flirting through the messaging app between rounds and ran into each other on campus a few times. Shortly afterward we met up a friend’s birthday party and started dating. We’ve managed long distance several times. When Jordan was still in New York, we went up to Maine for Memorial Day. He booked us a ferry ride out to Monhegan Island (far in advance, which made me suspicious). We hiked out to a cliff overlooking the ocean, and he proposed!”
The Wedding
Rachel and Jordan are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and witnessing and capturing their wedding day was such a joy. Their first look was one of my favorites I’ve ever captured. They alternated between talking and catching up and loving on each other. It was so precious. Several of the “portraits” here were actually candid shots from the minutes following their first look. This was an amazing day watching Jordan and Rachel being showered with love from all of their friends and family… and it was a killer party to boot. Here are just a few of our favorites.
