Marisa and Joe’s wedding this past weekend in Little Italy was filled with so much love and emotion – it was such a joy to capture!
The Proposal
Marisa and Joe have been together for 10 years, almost 11, and have an adorable 7 year old daughter, who you’ll see a bunch of in this blog post. Last year during the lockdown they decided to drive cross country to spend the holidays with Marisa’s family in Baltimore. Joe proposed on his own birthday on Broadway Pier in Fells point. “I had no idea it was coming and it was one of the greatest moments of my life.” – Marisa
The Wedding
Marisa and Joe were married this past weekend on her grandfather’s birthday. Marisa told me that although he passed away when she was young, he had incredible impact on her. It was also the anniversary of her maid of honor/best friend/cousin’s wedding 6 years ago, and she graciously shared their anniversary with Marisa and Joe. There’s no question that family is the most important thing for Joe and Marisa. Whether it’s their close blood family, or their chosen friend family – there was no shortage of love at this wedding. It was an honor to capture it all. Here are just some of my favorites.

Absolutely love the images of Marisa and Joe praying at the front of the church, their family portrait there, the silhouette kiss at the doors to the church…. and of course all the night shots! The candids beautifully show the fun, the connection, and love these people all have with and for each other! Really beautiful!!
