This past weekend we spent two days celebrating Ariel and Sri! Today on the blog – day one!

The Couple

Ariel and Sri met at University of Maryland Smith School of Business, and weren’t actually fans of each other at first. Which, clearly didn’t last. The rest, as they say, is history. Now, a pandemic, a nearly 90 lb puppy, a move, a marriage, and four weddings later… they’re really, really married.

The Wedding

From the wedding website: Friday was their Sangeet, “which translates to Music Night or Musical party. This musical night is a celebration of the union of not only the couple but the bonding of both families. It is here that both sides bring down their barriers and mingle in a fun environment with dance, music, and delicious food!” And dance, music and delicious food did we have! The evening started with a cocktail hour with delicious food, mehndi, and mingling. Followed by a short, less than 5 minute ceremony and several choreographed dances, some heartfelt speeches, more DELICIOUS food and a packed dance floor! It was the perfect way to set the tone for an awesome wedding weekend. Here are just some of my favorites from our time together!
