Cat and Jimmy were married this past weekend at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. It was SO MUCH FUN and lightly (heavily?) themed after their two cats, Cheddar and Bean. I am psyched to share the highlights on the blog today.

The Couple

Cat moved to Baltimore in late 2018 and started work as a labor and delivery nurse where she met McKenna. McKenna later introduced Cat to Jimmy and the rest is history! They soon found out they had lots in common including both growing up in PA, moving to Baltimore, putting Old Bay on everything, and their love for family trips to Rehoboth Beach.

Jimmy proposed to Cat on Nov. 5th 2022 on a beautiful fall walk in Patterson Park near the pagoda. Only a few blocks away in Canton, They bought their first house together and love making this city their home!

The Cats

As you will see, Cat and Jimmy’s wedding day was just as much about their cats Cheddar and Bean as about the two of them, as it should be! They’re family! From the bride: “Cheddar is our super cuddly orange boy with no thoughts in his head, sharing one singular brain cell with all other orange cats. Bean is our tortoiseshell baby girl, who chooses Jimmy as her favorite human on earth and is most happy sitting in his lap.”

There’s tons of stuff not featured in this already super long blog post, like photos of their adorable cake (featuring the cats), themed cocktails, the cats on their napkins, signage, etc. As someone who also had a lightly cat themed wedding (Sherlock is my soulmate) I appreciated this very much. The Wedding

I have been incredibly excited for Cat and Jimmy’s wedding from the jump. From our first email I knew these were my people. Cat and Jimmy are kind, wonderful, and embrace the weird. This was one of my favorite weddings of the year, hands down. From cats, to cat themed things, to Cat the bride, to a water taxi ride across the harbor to the venue, an ice cream bike, home video slideshows during parent dances, and on and on… there were so many wonderful things about this day. There are almost double the photos of a normal blog post, sorry not sorry. Without further ado, here are just a sampling of my favorites from a wonderful day celebrating Jimmy and his three Cats.
