Courtney and Aaron’s wedding this past weekend at the Belvedere officially kicks off our spring wedding season, and it was the perfect start to what I know will be another amazing year.
The Couple
From the couple: “We met on Bumble and our first conversation was about working at Chick-fil-A, which was both of our first jobs. Our first date was at a Thai restaurant, but sadly the food went to waste as both of us were too nervous to eat. We then spent 3 hours talking outside of Courtney’s apartment. It didn’t take very long for us to start spending all of our time together.
“For the engagement, Aaron wanted it to be a surprise. Seemed pretty simple. Convince Courtney to head up to the rooftop of our apartment building where Aaron would be waiting with the ring. Thinking he was smart, Aaron told Courtney that he was going to visit his grandparents in NY and would leave directly after work. He packed his suitcase and headed off to work. Using the best free location spoofing app money can buy, Aaron started his drive to New York. Life360 had no shot of stopping this surprise. Courtney’s best friend Katie was tasked with getting Courtney proposal ready. Weekly nail appointments for a few weeks to keep her guessing and dinner plans for the night of the proposal to make sure Courtney was dressed for the occasion. Aaron returned home and snuck back into the apartment building and headed to the roof to set up candles. Using a story about some lost AirPods, Courtney was sent to the rooftop, where Aaron was waiting to propose. A path of candles led to the center of the rooftop where Aaron proposed. Turns out the free spoofing apps don’t work very well and Courtney knew it was coming all along.”
The Wedding
Courtney and Aaron’s wedding this past weekend at the Belvedere was the perfect way to start off a busy spring wedding season. We are now officially at weddings every weekend until the end of June! Courtney and Aaron’s wedding was so much fun with the nicest people. We loved spending our day with these two, their amazing family, and their friends who were hilarious and owned the dance floor. It had been a while since we were in the Grand Ballroom for a wedding and it was great to be able to use some of our favorite Belvedere spaces for their photos. Anyway, I’ll cut this short as I’m better at photography than words, so here is a VERY large selection of photos to show how wonderful of a day it was.
