Cassie and JP were married this past weekend and had one heck of a party to celebrate! I’m psyched to share the highlights on the blog today.
The Couple
From the couple: “We met through a mutual friend at a work event and hit it off afterwards! We met in April 2018 so we’ve been together 7 years already. We own our house in Canton and have a kitten together. We got engaged in Long Island on Memorial Day 2024 (last year) while walking on the beach before heading home for the weekend. Jp caught me totally by surprise which he thought was hilarious. Our friend Grace (MOH) was with us and took some sneaky photos from far away after pretending she was getting a FaceTime call from someone else and dropping back.”
The Wedding
We had so much fun spending the day with Cassie and JP for their wedding this past Saturday! Before they even realized their date overlapped with the Baltimore Running Festival, they’d already planned for guests to arrive by water taxi — which ended up being both the most Baltimore move ever and a genius way to avoid the traffic. What started as a fun, unique touch turned out to be super convenient, too!
Their ceremony on the water was beautiful, with personal vows and a poem “by Shel Silverstein” (just kidding — it was actually written by ChatGPT). The night wrapped up with one hell of a party — a packed dance floor, all the emo/pop punk hits from the 2000s, and just the best vibes all around.
Here are a few of my favorites from their day
